Dear Whaea Chanel and all of room 15...

Man this year has gone faster than I thought and I never new how amazing children can be when it comes to helping and caring for one another. I  hope Becky, Ronin, Maia, Sofie, Kody, Lucy and Tawa make great year sixes and in fact I already know that they will. My life at NCS has been UNFORGETTABLE!!!!. But one thing I really need to get out of my system is something I want to say to Whaea Chanel:

My 2 years in your class have been amazing and I'll never forget your wonderful smile and your kind and warm heart. My mum and dad have absolutely adored you. You are a beautiful person and don't let anyone take that away from you. Sorry but if I say any more than that I'll definitely cry so I must go now but I will visit you as much as I can

I wake up on a grey and gloomy morning not wanting to leave my warm and cosy bed. Suddenly I can hear outside my door "GET UP, GET UP, ITS CHRISTMAS TIME, GET UP, GET UP, IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!" 

"How many times do I have to tell you, Anabell, leave me alone!!" I replied back to my sister Anabell. Then the next thing you know my mum walks in the door and says... "Get up lazy bum it's already 11:30!!!" " Exactly!!!... wait did you say 11:30?? oh my gosh I was meant to be at school 2 and a half hours ago!!!". I rushed out of my bed , got dressed and left, then I realized that it is the school holidays. "Well that got you up didn't it ??" mum said to me.

   wow dude!!!

           

Every morning on camp I would be woken up by a voice saying "five minutes girls, five minutes" I would jump out of bed and see Whaea Chanel waking every body up out of bed. We had to do exercises at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. They definitely tortured us.

                  Dear success diary...........
About 15 days ago rooms 2, 3 and 15 went on camp to mistletoe bay. We did a lot of activities while there, but these are the ones that I was most proud about :

1. Burma trail: I am proud about doing the Burma trail because we had to walk in and under trees which I found very difficult, we were also blindfolded and it took place at night.

2. Swimming in the sea: I am proud of myself for swimming in the sea because usually I am very conscious about swimming in a wide open space.

3. Man vs wild: I am proud of myself for doing man vs wild because Charlotte and I had to float a raft all the way from the wharf to the shore.

4. The morning run: I am proud of myself for doing the morning run because I usually HATE running but now i actually don't mind it.

5. Camp concert: I am proud of doing camp concert because I usually don't like performing in front of a large crowd.

6. Kayaking: I am proud of doing kayaking because I was very scared of falling out (which was very unlikely to happen).

7. Master chef: I am proud of doing Master chef because I never knew how good our slice was going to taste.

About two weeks ago we got our new i-pads. We use them like crazy but my one favourite thing to do on them is make imovies. Last Friday Whaea Chanel gave us some time to make imovies. 

First: You select the imovie title in the menu area.

Secondly: Tap the plus sign at the bottom and pick what kind of movie you would like it to be etc scary, happy or comedy.

Thirdly: Type in all of the following details that you can see on the screen.

Fourthly:Then you start to shoot the set and edit the sentences within you're movie trailer.

It's a beautiful evening/afternoon at montgomery square. The sun is shining and the birds are singing as me, malachi and my dad are trying to find my group number (c3), finally we found it. "I'm late I'm late for a very important date " yes we are starting Becky turns towards me and says "I wish , just another practice". 40 MINUTES LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are still in the same spot and haven't moved at all."Just about to start" says the teacher next to me. 10 minutes later speaking of just about to start when are we going to start. Finally we begin. I got to see a lot of friends and family on the way. 1 hour of  marching almost over.DONE!!!

This is my wonderful teacher , Whaea Chanel. I have been in her class for almost two years now and I believe that it has definately brought us closer. I came into her class room last year as a year 5. Sadly I do have to leave her this year but i will try my hardest to see her as much as I can. And just a little message for whaea Chanel: I'll miss you sooooooooooo much and I wish I did'nt have to leave but at least I still have the rest of the year left so that's why I'll make it a great one :)

The market day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today the 10th of the 7th of 2013 we had the term 2 market day. I was in a stall with Karli. We had a lot of things to sell. At 11:00 we started to make our signs to put on our stalls. At 11:30 we started to sell our items in the whare nui because we weren't selling food in our shop. I bought a lot of books. So yeah that's pretty much what happened at market day today

Hello my name is Lily-Belle (which you probably already new) but today I am going to tell you about how lucky I am such a wonderful family.

First I am going to tell you about my ...... mummy :My mummy is a caring , beautiful and she is an amazing mother to all three of us kids.

Daddy:My daddy is an inspiration to me, Malachi and Isaiah. He is the one that got me so interested in music ever since I was just a little toddler. 

My two brothers:Oh boy what can I say they're both wacky , wild and can be quite annoying at some stages.

This has been a privilege to tell you about my wonderful family.

In week two of term two Whaea Chanel gave us a task which was to make a board game within six weeks total. I was very excited about this task that whaea gave us. During the time i had to make my board game i started to plan what I would need and do to make this task successful,I wrote:board,little fruit, and the characters are:a Monkey,a Lion,a Jaguar,a Snake,a Bird and a Sloth,Cards,Players 3-6,dice and my game is aged 7+.The aim of my game is to receive the most fruits during the game.

In the Holidays.....

I went to Motueka to stay with my dad for a weekend. While we were at my my dads house our aunty and her new born baby came over to stay with us. Her baby's name was Daisy Blue. One thing we know for sure is that she doesn't like......BATHS!!!!!. Earlier that week I went to town with Becky and the whole time we basically just got food. For the rest of the holidays I just stayed at home but I still had lots of fun!!!!!
